Tremendous medical centre and pharmacy right beside. No hidden costs, honest and straight forward. Fran and Susi are a great team and multi lingual. Highly efficient and would recommend joining them if youre here for a while.
My boyfriend needed a doctor during our holidays in Arona and we found this centre online because it was the closest to our hotel. We asked for the price of the visit and the receptionist told us that the visit would cost 70 and if additional treatments were needed there would be an additional cost. During the visit the doctor suggested an intravenous antibiotics and nebulizer. Of course my boyfriend agreed as no other option was offered. When it came to paying the receptionist told us that the price would be 625 but they kindly decided to give us a discount bringing the price to be paid to 425. Of course there was nothing else to do but to accept it as the treatment was already done. I strongly advise to not go to this centre as it looks like a scam to get the patients to pay a lot of money. If you decide to go please make sure that they are transparent on the prices. Awful experience at the Excelent Medical in Avenida Juan Carlos I, Arona!
Terrible place would not trust this place use to have a English doctor but no more . Its a insurance scam from the minute you walk through the door. All diagnoses will all lead to an X-ray at a private hospital ambulances are like taxis ordered for you on arrival PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST!,!!!!'!!!!!!!!!
I cannot disagree more with Maria's review. I was taken ill in Tenerife earlier this year and I was very pleased with my treatment and costs at Excellent Medical.The receptionist was brilliant as was the attention from the doctor and both spoke perfect English. As for costs, it always seems expensive for us Brits or other European visitors when overseas because of our outstanding NHS. I hate to think what a private consultation costs in the UK or indeed any EU country. We should be thankful for the service provided which is not a money making exercise but with the best intentions to get the correct treatment available until we fly home.
